Got ustream.tv to work with my Canon DV camera over Firewire

Got my ustream.tv webcast to work with my Canon DV camera over Firewire. Here is my 'cast: Roland's Mundane TV. It wouldn't work with my iSight with my Power PC Powerbook G4. Strange but true :-) ! Guess the ustream.tv crew only tested with intel Macs!

Hi-

I am trying to run Canon DV to broadcast on Ustream, but I'm only getting video, no audio.  Can you please advise?

Thanks

or something like that!

When I open the brodcast window - I can choose my cannon camera from the list, but when I select it - it dosent change, the video just freezes - then is fine when you put it back to the webcam. Do you have any idea how this can be fixed? Thanks :) ~Sam

works great on my mac, i suggest asking your local video guru, especially if you are using Windows!

This issue has been bugging me for a few days now as I just can't get it to pick up the standard audio I have. I even went to recording in the audio settings and select mixer and it still does not work. I am very confused and believe I have to download a new audio driver to get it going but now I need to find one that someone recommends. As trying to find out how to get audio to work without going through the VHsCrap, FlashMedia Live, to Total Media Extreme works but is taxing on my computer. I have to close the Flash Media Live and still it become choppy on the Justin.tv stream. Maybe my 3.2GHZ computer can't handle all this latest technology to it can run all those programs efficiently. So I wanna run it through my Firewire but I can't seem to get audio to work or find a place where it states how to get it to work. So annoying.

i have had no problems on the Mac, I guess you are on Windows?
