Blogging Has Gone Nuts because people have tried to game it and make money thru SEO rather than passion

i remember meeting some SEO people when the acronym was still a religious chant (years ago).  i was disappointed and founf them - well - sleazy.

I'm sure this industry has learned to regulate itself better now.  But i can't shake off the sense that it's an industry that's trying to make a quick buck by talkinf (very) fast.
