Bib Clips

Jr. is a messy eater. He always has been. He usually still wears a bib or more often, a bib-like alternative like a cloth napkin tied cowboy style.

Lo and behold, I have just discovered bib clips made by a Portland company, Kipiis. Basically, they are a funky, kid friendly version of what the dentist uses to clip a paper napkin around your neck. Why didn't I come across this a few years ago?! Why didn't I think of this?!

Although Jr is almost 3 1/2 years old, I did run out to buy one. We used it for dinner tonight and it was great. It kept the cloth napkin in place and because the napkin wasn't scrunched up to make a knot, there was lots of extra coverage. Handy for keeping all of Jr's overflow of cous cous (messy!) in one place.

We have recently started

We have recently started having our children wear a paper dental bib during meal times and they really work great! Thanks for the idea. It saves so much money when compared to buying paper bibs or replacing food-stained clothing. The kids say the dental bibs are more comforable than having a paper napkin tucked in their shirt collar.

Bib Clips

We buy Extra large sized paper dental bibs by the case and use dental bib clips to attach them around our childrens necks during meals. Paper dental bibs are very sturdy and absorb all spills, splashes, etc. Bib clips travel nicely from home to restaurants. Perfect for all ages and especially when the kids are wearing nice clothes, they are well protected.

Bib Clips

Great idea! We have three messy eaters (boys) ages 4, 7, and 10. We bought bib clips for each of our boys and now we just attach a large paper napkin to them during meal times. This is a real money saver as their clothes are protected from all the sauce stains, etc. I also have noticed the coverage is better than when we used to have them tuck their paper napkin in their shirt collar.
