I hit it off with Will Pate the first time I met him in Vancouver as I drove him to sushi on a rare slushy, snowy day in Vancouver. And of course we worked closely together during his Sales Director time at Raincity. And the rest is history: flock which is great for incorporating flickr pictures in your blog posts and social media surfing and now ConceptShare. ConceptShare founder Scott Brooks and I met at BarCamp Toronto and we clicked right away. ConceptShare is a great idea for visual online collaboration which is just getting bigger and better and it's all powered out of Sudbury (the power of the web! you can work anywhere! Not a cliché in this case). Check them out!

Wow, it’s an exciting day for us at ConceptShare HQ. Today we’re announcing two product launches. We doubled our team just two months ago to meet existing customer demand, and to prepare for the growth that today would bring.

I still remember picking Will up for our first meeting in Vancouver just over a year ago. Two words: hire him! He's smart and gets things done.

A great job with an awesome company, filled with people who "get it". I can do the best work for firms that provide web services or are building web application products, work with open source (Drupal is my forte) or social software of any kind. I could also do good things for companies that want to stand apart in industries that need help figuring out Web 2.0 opportunities; such as media & entertainment.
I'd like to stay in Vancouver if possible (it rocks here). Willing to relocate to the Bay Area, Seattle or Toronto; but since I'm a self taught genius type it might be a bit difficult to get a work visa in the US. If your lawyers know how to figure that part out, then game on.
