Broke my GorillaPod last week bicycling up Clark Park, aaargh. What should I do ? Buy the SLR sized GorillaPod (and use it with my N95 and N93, I wouldn't tempt fate and use with my Canon 20D) or buy a proper bicycle mount? Or hack my own mounting system (e.g. from MAKE and Mark Boyd)
Don't have much spare $ and not much mechanical aptitude so leaning towards the former!
Could somebody tell me how durable the SLR GorillaPod is?

It's great to have a Nokia DT-22 tripod (thanks Nokia!). Came in very handy at the UBC Large Displays Workshop that I blogged about recently and it will come in handy for lots of other video projects I'm involved with. I'll post the videos soon here and you will see how much better this is than my handheld videos!

Last week I received the cool DT-22 Tripod from Nokia Blogger Relations. First impressions: a great tool for videoblogging and like Ken wrote, the base is a great little adapter for use with other tripods.
Come see the DT-22 this Wednesday at Massive 2007 at the Bryght booth where I will use the DT-22 to videoblog 3 minute videoblogs with show-goers.

The N93 suffers from the the lack of standard hardware interfaces. Forget the POP port! Put a standard tripod jack (I guess I'll buy the Nokia DT-22 tripod that Darla mentioned assuming I can find it in Canada, fat chance! In the meantime if anybody has a way to mount the N93 so I can shoot talking head videos of myself, please email roland AT rolandtanglao.com or phone 604 729 7924), USB port and a headphone jack in every phone Nokia, please! The POP port belongs to the past. Thanks! End of rant :-) !
Finally, I guess I'll buy a POP Port to Standard headphone jack adapter so I can listen to music on my phone in the car like I used to with the N91!
