HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Filipiñana, the full 2026 movie, is full arthouse at its most thought (or sleep) provoking and very gut wrenching simultaneously. What actually happened? Did the Doctor and all the Ilustrados get their just desserts :-) ?!?!? Probably not because corruption.

- I know zero Ilokano! But yes the Ilokanos in this movie could have been speaking Kapampangan or any the other 100 or so provincial languages (apparently there are 8 major groups)/
